ABOUT ME

This is just a casual and friendly introduction to me.

First things first, I'm Charlie, a young neurodivergent lighting designer, console programmer and technician.

I'm a lighting creative who is deeply passionate and detailed when it comes to my creative work with experience designing for a wide array of production styles in both theatre and events. I try to steer clear of trends and focus (pun intended) on my unique identity as a designer and what I feel is right as a creative.

I would describe myself as a cheery and smiley individual who finds great pleasure in working on projects with people that truly allow me to invest creatively and permit an open creative environment.

I love both event and theatrical-type settings alike and have been in love with all things creative lighting since the age of 7 years old (I was a strange child).

Working in this industry non-stop in both technical and creative disciplines in a variety of roles has given me a broad understanding of the relationships between practitioners and what can be achieved even in the most unorthodox of venues and settings.
